Turbulent times here for a lot of people by the looks of things ... hugs to those that need them.
Sitting regularly. Less anxious than I used to be re the monkey mind (just as well this last 36 hours particularly) and the irritation has subsided. Glad to be doing it.
Hugs to Jean: thank goodness for that piping birdsong! And hugs to anyone else who needs them.
I've just now sat for the first time since Sunday, when I broke up with my long-distance boyfriend. It felt good to return to my mat not to seek clarity, which right now is elusive, but simply to rest. These past few days have been emotionally draining, so my cushion feels like the one place where I can simply sit without having to figure things out.
Go to sleep, anxious little monkey-mind, go to sleep.

Full of wretched confusion and anxiety, but, when I sat this morning, there was a sudden piping birdsong, and for a moment that was all there was.
Anonymous: welcome. Hope you stick around.
