just sat for 15 minutes for a friend whose ex husband (father of her children) is in surgery for a huge operation as I write. he has an 80 per cent chance of dying on the table so they are trying to prepare their children for an 80 per cent chance they will be losing their dad. in, out, in, out....
realised how rarely i am really IN the moment in meditation. hovering around the breath, thinking about it, a bit ahead or a bit behind, but so rarely actually with.
