I'm delighted that my suggestion we should stop has provoked the reaction that it has - I must admit, I hoped it would.
I like Ruth's suggestion of "having a forum where someone puts up a postwhen they feel like it, and thereafter there can be threads. One would have to create a log in but it would be open to everyone."
I also think Julian's point about not coming up in search engines and thus not attracting new people is a good one.
Shall we go into 'overtime' as we have done before, and keep discussing this for a few days?
sounds good jean, and lovely to hear you bitteroot with all your usual warmth and nicole too. I am aware I care about this alot even though right now I'm not sitting regularly. I want it to be out there! And it looks like it will.
Some more feedback about the forum idea would be good before j and I go ahead and resarch it or indeed put it in place. IT would preobably mean moving the site to textpattern or wordpress and maybe paying a yearly subscription of about 30$ which I am happy to gift.
