I actually got pretty excited about this site but the last time I came I couldn't get in. Saw it again on Brenda Clew's site and tried once more. Yeh!

I skipped a day, then sat today before lunch. Unfortunately just as I got settled in my housemate decided to make lunch and put away the dishes from the dishwasher - lots of banging around the kitchen. I managed to keep returning to my breath but felt waves of maniacal irritation coming up! I just watched that happening, part of me amused. She finished, then my leg started falling asleep. So that was my sit today! Actually I was surprised at how centered I stayed - I think because it was external stuff going on, giving my usual self-focused rumination a rest.

We're having a blizzard here. Must have at least a foot and a half of very fluffy stuff, much of it blowing around.

Bill, Prudence. Hi and welcome. Lovely to have you here.

Leslee. Empathise with the external noises actually helping. I meditated at midnight on New Year's Eve with all the fireworks going off and it was one of the most focussed sessions I have ever had. The bangs and flashes actually seemed to help centre me. And snow, how lovely ... well maybe not, but it looks nice!

I sat briefly this morning. However I gave a reiki treatment today to a friend which became a meditation in itself. She went to sleep and I just stayed as present as I could. You could almost feel the quality of the silence. Lovely.

Hi Bill, and Prudy!

This is an oasis, a respite, a place to gather, where our lives and their stresses become part of an other flow that is strong, deep, vital, sacred, loving.

When I am held in the arms of my meditation I am rocked like a baby into bliss.

My medition tends to go quite well, it's my life that doesn't! :)

:grinning gleefully: Don't take me seriously!

A truly wonderful group of people here...

Couldn't ask for more of a gift than this.
