Yes, Jean, I'm counting the days until Thanksgiving, which I plan to spend catching up on work, sleep, and "down" time. (I'll also be traveling to see my family, so I'll be catching up with them, too.)
In the meantime, I sat weary, exhausted, but breathing for about 10 minutes before bed last night, surrendering to gravity. "Whatever it takes..."
Thanks, bitterroot, for the prayer. I think we all need it! :-)
Wednesdays are redeemed by the fact that I lead my KSC meditation group at noontime & attend yoga class at night: a double-dose of mindfulness to get me over the hump. ahhhh...

Little Prayer in November
That I am alive, I thank
no one in particular;
and yet am thankful, mostly,
although I frame no prayer
but this one: Creator
Spirit, as you have come,
come again, even in November,
on these short days, fogbound.

Lorianne: *Surrendering to gravity*. I relaxed a jot just reading that ...

Bitterroot, thank you for sharing that lovely little prayer.
love to you all.
Thanks, bitterroot. I'm glad the poet was so honest.
Love to everyone. Life feels mucky at the moment. Thick, and difficult to get through, but the days arise and go, and I'm here, finding beauty too.
