Next Wednesday is Day 100 (gosh, these come around fast!). Shall we try and sit at the same time? I'll try and work out some times, but maybe not till Monday, as I think there may be some clock changes this weekend.
Thank you everyone so much for the good wishes yesterday. Shortly after I posted the solicitor rang to let me know that there would be no definite answer before early next week.
Staying as positive as possible, it's good meditation fodder, all this. Patience, acceptance, letting go. Feeling the feelings rather than pushing them away .... hard on the nerves though.
just checking in, and giving hugs to amm with health and house problems. I caught up on comments yesterday after a while and it made for quite turbulent reading.
I am in a very melancholy ball today so just peeping out to say hello and that I sat.
"Feeling the feelings..." Yes. Ran across this quote today: "Remember: It is not that those who cultivate wholeness and virtue in themselves do not encounter difficulties in life. It is that they understand that the difficulties are the very road to immortality: By meeting them calmly and openly, however they unfold, and joyfully developing themselves in response to them, they become as natural, as complete, and as eternal as the Tao itself." -- Lao Tsu (trans. By Brian Walker)
(((Ruth))) May your melancholy unroll into a more loving place soon.
