Must be a flea's world - because I was in that job last week, I couldn't put my dog's monthly 'flea oil' on because she needs to run a lot on a long walk for it to spread throughout her coat (it prevents egg shells from forming, thus preventing colonizing). No, it's not very Buddhist! Anyway, got it finally done Saturday night, and a two hour walk through large parks making sure no-one petted her (an issue because she's really friendly and very cute). Next day a trip to the ravine, where she became feral, she gets so exited in the trails, and covered in stinky black swamp mud & probably toxic run-off from the pesticides (which are illegal here) used on the grass of the wealthy folks whose mansions line the ravine. The bath takes longer than the walk, rinse & rinse, then heavy duty washing with a stringent flea shampoo, combing burrs out, followed by a communal looong exhausted nap! Flea-free though!
Lol - I've got a whole load of bites from sitting on grass yesterday eating my lunch. At least I'm not allergic!
You're right Lorianne ... it's me who needs to be gentle with me.
Brenda - sorry you're struggling physically, but I've been catching up here and I'm definitely hopeful that if I talk nicely to my body it will heal quicker. Sounds like you're doing a great job.
I'm not sleeping since my friend died. Thoughts mostly in turmoil, but I'm trying to allow, not chastise or run. Easier said than done. But hoping that I can find ways to think and feel what is coming to the surface, rather than what I would want to. And achieve that without needing to actually get under my bed!

Being allergic to them must be dreadful!
Sending flea-free thoughts and wishes to all...
