I was thinking this morning that I don't remember ever having had such a hard time with being distracted in meditation by anxiety and consequent scattered thoughts. Then I thought: well, that's because I've always previously given up sitting regularly when I've felt like that.
Jean, you're absolutely right! And if you *weren't* meditating, you'd be just as anxious & scattered...you just wouldn't be aware of it. I find *that* scarier than anything.
